Veco’s comprehensive refrigeration range includes both DC and AC models, catering to everything from small refrigerators to large cold rooms. In addition, Veco offers standard and custom stainless-steel cabinets, tailored to the marine environment, wine cellars, and fully bespoke cold storage options.
Veco’s air conditioning expertise extends from compact self-contained units to powerful centralized chillers, fan coils, AHU units, boilers, air extractors and ventilation systems.
Operating from a state-of-the-art 5,000 sq. meter facility in Giussano, Italy, Veco leverages advanced technologies like laser cutting and automated work centers to create products that exemplify Italian craftsmanship.
Through a well-distributed global sales and service network, Veco ensures every customer receives exceptional service and support.

Our history
1971
From the beginning, Veco’s philosophy has always been centered on responding to market demands. This approach began with the company’s founder, Franco Formenti, who developed an innovative refrigeration system for a friend and later standardized it for mass production under his company, 3F of F. Formenti.
1978
The brand Frigoboat was born, also becoming the company’s name. Carlo, Franco’s son and current CEO, joins the company.
1984
The Frigoboat product line expanded into a diverse range of sophisticated solutions. The Climma brand was launched, marking Veco’s entry into the marine air conditioning world.
1999
The company becomes Veco S.p.A.
With more than 50 dealers located all over the world and a worldwide service network, Veco is exporting more than 50% of its production abroad.
2020
Now in its third generation and celebrating 50 years in the business, Veco remains a family-owned company, upholding its founding values while continually pursuing growth. This is achieved through ongoing innovation, state-of-the-art solutions and an unwavering commitment to quality.
2024
Veco’s strategic rebranding unites its established brands, Climma and Frigoboat, under the singular Veco name, reaffirming their commitment to delivering a comprehensive portfolio of cutting-edge marine refrigeration and climate control solutions crafted to the highest standards.
